A journey into the realms of the senses
This is a seminar far removed from dry lectures and drab discussions - with a 'dîner sensorique' you can re-learn the art of enjoyment. Qualified sommeliers take you on a journey through the world of the senses with a menu offering several courses.
You make new discoveries and experiences by playing with the tastes of sweet, sour, salty and bitter. Water, tea, sugar and salt take on new meaning.
After being trained in the basics where am I tasting what on my tongue the journey takes you further into the invisible world of the senses, accompanied by cubes of toast, apple, onions and gherkins as well as other foods, against which different wines are tasted. How does the taste of the wine change under the influence of the different foods? Quite astonishing discoveries are made and these are then explored further by the various courses of the meal to follow.

Tasting a range of wines with top cuisine is enjoyable and fascinating, not only for those knowledgeable about food and wine, but indeed for anyone who enjoys trying out new culinary and sensory experiences.
These 'dîners sensoriques' were created and developed by Markus Del Monego, the first German Sommelier World Champion and are offered to interested private individuals as well as to companies. They can take place anywhere in Germany on wine estates, in hotels or even at home wherever and however you like with a romantic, modern or businesslike approach. Regardless of whether there are two or two hundred of you, this short trip into the realms of the senses is a culinary highlight for all participants. It combines quality and enjoyment perfectly and in this age of fast food, gives us space to relax. The costs for such a dinner are dependent on the number of participants, the selected location, and the chosen wine and food. It is therefore not possible to give all-inclusive quotes.
